8BC CartMaster digital on-air system is a part of a complex Master Series software set. Master Series connects all workstations (on-air studio, music scheduling, programming, traffic scheduling, promotion and production etc.) and allows their common communication.

THE LIBRARY WORK HAS NEVER BEEN EASIER!
To select a chosen library, to enter desired element (song, jingle, spot...) and to drag-and-drop wherever you need to place it - that's all you have to do! CartMaster is directly connected with your Selector library and thus every operation (edits, new song additions etc.) is made just once - in Selector!
LibraryOnLine provides full connection with Selector/Linker library with respect to your selected "hold" categories and levels (your air talent will never play anything you would not like to be aired).
LogNavigator has several important functions:
historical analysis informs your air talent when selected element was last played and/or when it will be eligible for play. Then the air talent can make immediate decisions (e. g. can analyze when requested song or any other song by the artist was aired). Rule violations such as  minimum separation or daypart restriction are immediately reported.
daypart restriction: In case certain songs, jingles or promos are daypart restricted in Selector/Linker (e.g. a song cannot be aired in the morning drive or a promo element is supposed to be aired during weekends) the system warns the air talent about this restriction.
fast schedule navigation: thanks to new graphic schedule presentation you can view the log in real-time - just one click on a selected day and hour will show you the part of the schedule you are interested in! Due to this unique feature you can easily find out e.g. songs ranked on the first/second/third positions during the last countdown show and make an immediate log modification.
integration: all of the features above are available with just one click - not only in the library, but also in the schedule.

SEGUE EDITOR - THE MULTI-TRACK EDITOR IN YOUR ON-AIR STUDIO
Segue Editor has been so far available in the most expensive digital on-air systems only. CartMaster now contains this feature with everything needed for high-quality segue editing:

monitor schedule element segues (cross-fades) just like you will hear them on-air (of course before they are aired)
change element segues any way you wish
edit audio elements (e. g. audio beginning/ending or fade-in/fade-out editing)
zoom-in/zoom-out or undo your changes quickly!

Segue Editor is basically a graphic presentation of your schedule upon a horizontal time line allowing you to monitor segues and edit their mutual cross-fades. Of course these changes relate to one on-air playback only. The default settings of mixing/editing points made by your music director in 8BC AutoTool console are preserved.

HOTKEYS
You can create hundreds of "hotkeys" in CartMaster; clicking whichever of them immediately fires selected sound element on-air. Whenever and whatever - a greeting over a song intro, several effects in a row or song hooks... Shortly: whatever you need! CartMaster contains a sophisticated tool for the complete hotkeys management; now you can even have an icon on every hotkey - it cannot be any easier!

INSTANT SCHEDULE
CartMaster is capable of automatic log synchronization. Just imagine - you create complete schedule for the on-air studio in Selector - including all songs, jingles, promos, spots, notes or scripts - and the air talent in the studio can immediately see the whole schedule on the CartMaster screen!

The system offers several modes of intelligent time synchronization: CartMaster looks about time and offers you various levels of on-air intervention in case that time scheduled for particular log elements does not pomport with reality (it is especially important with full-automatization). Time synchronization options in CartMaster overmatch everything available in other systems.

  CartMaster is the only system with so called reconciliation feature available. This feature allows automatic schedule updating in Selector according to your on-air studio requests. It is thus not necessary to perform manual reconciliation and organization reports will be really correct. Moreover, the musical director and the programmer get the complete view about everything what happened in the studio - directly from Selector!

CartMaster is usually delivered to radio stations with two screen control panel. If the system has to broadcast in special conditions where the second screen is not available (e.g. live outdoor broadcast), CartMaster is switching between individual control panels according the operator's work.
